Last Sunday we were sitting down to dinner and Terry went and got Isaac out of his saucer (known for causing horrible blowouts). He came and sat down at the table and we were preparing for the prayer when I noticed Terry's shirt. All I can say is I am glad it wasn't me. However, I ended up having to change Isaac and bathe him because Terry was tied up getting himself cleaned up.

Ainsley's Birthday
Ainsley had her birthday a few weeks ago. We had a great day celebrating her birth. It started wtih eggs and bacon for breakfast, not anything worth mentioning for lunch, and corn dogs and mac and cheese for dinner. I kept saying, you can have anything for dinner. Are you sure you want corn dogs and mac and cheese? Yep!
We went to Horton Sees a Who and I decided we still have too many little ones to take the whole fam to a movie. Ainsley kept saying she wanted to go home and she and Sam wondered up and down the rows of seats (there was only one other family in the theater). But the kids attention was reengaged during the "We are Here!!!!!" grand finale part.
After we went home for some yummy strawberry shortcake (cream cheese frosting and all).
The present that got the biggest squeal of delight was the chapstick.
Ainsley was pleased with her new huffy bike.
Yard Sale Mania
Yesterday my neighborhood had a yard sale day and boy was it crazy. The streets were plugged with cars and people. It felt very festive and I felt like we needed to sell stuff to be part of it. So the kids sold cookies and pop. It was fun for the kids ( not so fun for me because I was making cookies (due to procrastination) and setting up their little stand and watching Sam because he was in the front where all the cars were and listening to Isaac cry (Terry was sleeping cause he worked the night before)). Anyway, we survived and the kids made a memory and they even made a little bit of money.
One little funny thing happened with the pop. We bought orange Sunkist and I checked the label before we bought it to see if it had caffeine in it. I didn't see it so we bought it and went home. Later when we started selling I looked at a can and there was caffeine in the pop. I told the kids and they got really worried. Abby started announcing to people who were walking by that they didn't want to by the orange pop because it had caffeine. The people were looking at her a little puzzled. Some neighbor kids came over to buy pop who were LDS, and they picked out the orange pop. Abby was trying really hard to talk them out of getting that kind. I told them to check with their parents before they drank it to see if it was all right. Anyway, it was funny.

I think yard sales are an interesting phenomenon. People speed walking everywhere, thinking that the deal of a century is just around the corner. Anyway. . .
